FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Things people often ask before a treatment at MAVE Beauty.
What is semi-permanent makeup (PMU)? add
A technique of implanting pigment in the upper layer of the skin to enhance brows, lips, or the lash line naturally and long-lastingly (not permanent). Results fade gradually and can be touched up.
What treatments are available at MAVE Beauty? add
Brows (Ombré Powder Brows), Lip Blush, Eyelash Extensions, Nail Art & Extensions, and Nano Eyeliner. Details of each technique are on the Articles & Tips page.
Does the treatment hurt? add
Comfort is our priority. We use a special numbing cream, so most clients feel only a light tingling rather than sharp pain.
How long do results last? add
It depends on the technique & skin type: Ombré Brows typically 1.5–3 years, Lip Blush 1–3 years, with periodic touch-ups to maintain color. Eyelash extensions need a refill every 2–3 weeks.
How much do treatments cost? add
Prices vary by treatment and needs. Contact us via WhatsApp for the latest price list & a free consultation.
Where are the MAVE Beauty studios? add
Two studios: Gading Serpong (Maggiore Grande, Ruko Blok G10 2nd Floor, Tangerang) and West Jakarta (Jl. Pedongkelan Raya No.1A, Cengkareng Indah). See the Locations page for maps & directions.
How do I book? add

What should I prepare before a treatment? add
Avoid caffeine & alcohol 24 hours before, and acid/retinol products on the treatment area for about 1 week. Full guidance is in the "Preparing Before Treatment" article.
Is it safe & hygienic? add
Absolutely. We use single-use needles/cartridges opened in front of you, sterile tools, and gloves for every session.
Can I have a treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding? add
For safety, procedures are usually postponed during pregnancy/breastfeeding. Discuss your condition with our artist before booking.
